Does V-BRAIN answer from every uploaded file?
No. Documents pass through processing and approval, and access is checked for the user. An uploaded file may still be awaiting indexing or publication.
Can V-BRAIN run with local models?
The application supports Ollama for local inference and embeddings. Model size, available memory and CPU or GPU capacity determine response time.
Are cloud AI calls automatic?
No. Cloud inference needs explicit provider configuration and access settings. It may incur provider usage charges.
Can an answer replace the approved procedure?
No. Treat generated text as assistance, inspect its citations and use the current approved procedure and responsible specialist for operational decisions.
