WHO IT IS FOR

For production, warehouse and dispatch teams that need to trace a pallet, its contents and recorded handovers.

Keep pallet identity and movement history together.

A pallet without context creates questions at every handover. What is on it? Which batch does it belong to? Where was it last seen? Was the expected process completed before dispatch?

SOLUTION SCOPE

Material identity & movement

01

Identity & context

Define a unique pallet identifier and the material, product, batch and production-order information associated with it.

02

Movement history

Design event capture at agreed handover points, with locations, timestamps and responsible systems.

03

WIP to dispatch

Map the expected journey through production, warehouse, finished goods and dispatch, including exceptions.

04

Search & investigate

Use the pallet record to discuss traceability queries, status views, missing events, alerts and reporting needs.

HOW IT WORKS

V-KISEKI workflow

  1. 01Identify

Link a unique pallet ID to its material and batch.

  2. 02Record

Capture each agreed handover with time and location.

  3. 03Follow

Review the last recorded event and expected next step.

  4. 04Trace

Reconstruct the recorded journey and investigate gaps.

PLAN YOUR DEMONSTRATION

What information makes a pallet record useful?

A useful record connects the pallet ID, contents or batch, event type, timestamp, location and capture source. A scan gives a recorded event; it does not by itself establish continuous location.

Bring these details to the discussion

  • Pallet and batch identification rules
  • Receiving, production, storage and dispatch handovers
  • Label reuse, split-pallet and missed-scan exceptions

V-KISEKI: frequently asked questions

What is pallet traceability?

Pallet traceability is the ability to connect an identified pallet with its contents, batch context and recorded movement events across a process.

How does V-KISEKI work?

The proposed workflow begins with pallet registration and material association, followed by identification and event capture at agreed locations. The exact workflow is scoped with VEERA.

Does tracking mean continuous real-time location?

Not necessarily. Scan-based tracking records the last captured event. Continuous location needs suitable devices and infrastructure and must be explicitly confirmed.

Are QR codes, barcodes and RFID supported?

These are identification options to evaluate. Device compatibility, label standards and reader integrations require verification before they are included in a project.
